Create a deeper impact with your communications.
TEP offers custom realization of your ideas in a clear and simple process. You can rest assured that we will deliver an experience that cannot be matched. Our packages range from small DIY systems to complete high-profile staging and every bit of technology in between. From video projection systems to stage lighting and sound, TEP is your source for a stress-free and spectacular event. We pride ourselves in providing complete solutions for a vast technical world.
Established in 2005, TEP began as a music production company running live concert events and quickly expanded to provide commercial AV design & installation. Fulfilling an array of corporate meeting, trade show, and special event clients, we have since been providing solutions for event productions and audio-visual equipment rentals in the Pacific Northwest and worldwide.
I began Technical Event Production to create an audiovisual “service” company. Delivering tangible results with technical solutions and seeing our clients succeed gives me a lot of pride. What I enjoy most is working closely with such an array of clients and being relied upon fully to deliver a stunning result – that is what this business was built upon.
When it comes to event technology, let TEP provide you a complete solution. We imagine, design, create, manage, organize, connect, operate, market, and deliver our projects with stunning results every time.
|“I have worked with production crews for many years, for events large and small. Tony and Chris from TEP are among the very best I’ve come across. Not only technically savvy and solution-oriented, these folks are thoroughly professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. I will use TEP again in a heartbeat and recommend them highly, without reservation.”
– Kevin Smith, Backstory Films
|–||“Great experience with this company. Just a month before our daughter’s wedding, I realized I needed help presenting their slideshow. Tony and his staff responded quickly and took great care to make sure we had everything we needed for things to go smoothly. They were even accommodating when the schedule was adjusted because of traffic delays. Highly recommend these folks!”
– Julie Kessler, Picture This Organized
|“Production and Technical Director Tony Gavilanes truly slammed on the virtual reality helmet over every audience members’ heads with the coolest digital projections I have ever seen at the theatre. Each of the dozen or so unique backdrops had the dimension and detail comparable to the most highly-accredited video games.”
– Amelia Reynolds, Broadway World
|–||“SURF Incubator recently contracted Technical Event Production to help install a pair of stage lights for our event space, and we quickly found out Tony really knows his stuff! He was efficient in his time, concise in his estimate, and all-around great to work with. I would recommend Tony and Technical Event Production to anybody!”
– Nick Hughes, SURF Incubator
|“Working with TEP and Tony Gavilanes was a great experience. Tony and his crew provided 5-star service and professionalism all the way from helping us identify our AV needs, working creatively within our budget through to the technical support we needed the day of our event. Within a very tight turnaround time, they did independent research on our venue, were able to improvise on-site, and made an evening of art, architectural and academic presentations enjoyable and stress-free. They took care of everything and responded quickly and in detail to every question and constantly reflected our updates/changes. Their professionalism was key to coordinating and executing this complex event..”
– Kimberly Sawada, UW Dpt. of Architecture
|–||“I manage facilities for a large beauty school and we have 6 projectors/screens in our building. We have worked with TEP for about a year and have had exceptional service. We use our projectors all day, every day. Whatever our needs are, they’ve been met by TEP: lamp replacement, regular maintenance, emergency services, etc – and service is super fast, super efficient. When we have had to make additions or replacements, TEP always gives us options for equipment and pricing. We very much value our relationship with Technical Event Production.”
– Vanessa Butler, Gary Manuel Aveda Institute
|“We could not be happier with the quality of product and service that we received from Tony Gavilanes and Technical Event Production in setting up an audio/visual system for our church. Tony listened carefully, then delivered a system that not only met our criteria, but far exceeded our expectations in quality. We appreciated his timely communication, professional expertise, and attention to detail. From start to finish, Tony cheerfully accommodated our every need. We highly recommend Tony Gavilanes and Technical Event Production.”
– Rev. Kathy Morse, Vashon United Methodist Church
|–||“Working with TEP and Tony Gavilanes was an excellent experience for my students. With Tony’s help we designed live interactive 3D backdrops and effects for a theater production. It was one of the most successful and experimental shows that has been done in the Seattle area. My students had a wonderful time and learned a great deal from having Tony on our team when it comes to technical and artistic production.”
– Vic Bonilla, Professor of VFX & Video Game Art, Academy of Interactive Entertainment
|“Production values are high. The company’s tech designer, Tony Gavilanes, achieves all sorts of miracles with limited resources. [The show featured] a spectacular moonrise, a clever device to suggest the highway trip, and some fine lighting effects.”
– N. Worsam, Arts Stage, Copious Love’s Cedar & The Redwoods
